Hoi Bun Road Park is located adjacent to Kwun Tong Promenade. It was recently refurbished to include plentiful green spaces for the working population in the Kwun Tong Business Area.
The sink area in the restroom uses transparent glass tiles to allow natural light to enter.
Instead of traditional ceilings, skylights are placed above the passageways between the toilet stalls and sink space to increase illumination and decrease dampness.
The primary entrance of the restroom features a handle-free design, reducing contact with handles and encouraging natural air circulation.
Strategically positioning transparent barriers and trellises within the park creates distinct outdoor spaces with diverse personalities, enabling the public to relax, play, and enjoy leisure activities anytime. The park offers a wide range of activities, including family get-togethers in sitting areas, street musicians performing in pavilions, senior citizens exercising in fitness zones, capturing stunning sunset views in the blooming garden, and hosting events at the multipurpose square.
The buildings are designed as pavilions and situated along the perimeter of the garden, shielding it from the bustling street while also providing a theatrical backdrop for the main lawn. The screening structures feature openings encouraging interaction between the serene park and the external street.
