The Hillside Eco-Park is a 1.4-hectare central park located within an upscale residential neighbourhood. The project is based on the concept of connecting humans, hills, and water. The design aims to preserve the original forest while also incorporating public spaces that promote interaction with nature. Furthermore, the plan uses stormwater management techniques to establish rain gardens and multi-functional spaces for educational, recreational, and entertainment purposes.
At Hillside Park, children have the opportunity to experience, interact with, and appreciate nature as they grow. Elements of the natural world, including sunlight, vegetation, blossoms, precipitation, streams, wetlands, ponds, waterfalls, birds, fish, frogs, fireflies, butterflies, and insects, become integral to their daily lives, leaving a lasting positive impact on them.
The layout of the Hillside Eco-Park is designed to offer a range of environmental learning experiences. A special signage system is in store not only to deliver essential details but also to explain plant life, ecological restoration methods, and additional ecological wisdom.
